CARTEEH at the Future of Transportation Summit

CARTEEH had a robust presence at the Inaugural Future of Transportation (FoT) Summit in Washington, DC which was organized by the National University Transportation Centers (UTC) program of the US Department of Transportation (US DOT).

The CARTEEH Director, Dr. Joe Zietsman spoke on “Advancing Healthy Mobility through Interdisciplinary Research” as part of the Environmental Plenary Session.

Other members of CARTEEH’s leadership team, including Dr. Tara Ramani, Dr. Jeremy Mattson, and Dr. May Fox participated in the conference. 

 

CARTEEH had three posters for display and presentation in the atrium of the US DOT HQ during the FoT Summit:

  • Low Emissions and Clean Transit in the Rural and Tribal Context – Dr. Jeremy Mattson
  • Supporting the Future of Transportation Through Research and Student Experiences – Dr. Mary Fox
  • Transportation Electrification: Trucks, Freight, and Beyond – Dr. Tara Ramani and Dr. Kanok Boriboonsomsin
