Adults older than 60 less likely to use public transportation, study finds
Schoenherr (2014) conducted research to demonstrate the significance of healthy aging. He emphasized the need for healthy aging and how older people should access various mobility alternatives, including public transportation, to get them to their destinations and access medical services. His research explained that using public transportation for work and errands may enhance physical activity and provide other health advantages. Still, older individuals are considerably less likely to do so regularly.
