GHG Emissions Calculation Tool

GHG Emissions Calculation Tool is a free, Excel-based tool from Greenhouse Gas Protocol and WRI that helps companies estimate their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions based on the GHG Protocol.

This tool will help achieve the goal of the following objectives

  • Less Contamination
  • Less Emissions
  • Less Traffic Noise
  • Connectivity and Inclusion
  • Healthy Destinations
  • Less Traffic Violence
  • Active Transportation
  • Green Space

Estimation Technique

The difference between the concentrations of GHG emissions before and after a certain intervention is calculated by the tool. The data collected indicates how much GHG emissions are released into the atmosphere, and can therefore evaluate the effectiveness of a SMART strategy. Additionally, this tool enables businesses and communities to create thorough and trustworthy inventories of their GHG emissions and aid nations and cities in monitoring their climate targets.
